THE GRAPH — the best project ever seen

What kind of data and applications do you see moving to Web3?

I hope that most of the data which we are used will migrate to Web3. In general, I am talking about all those things that a blockchain can contain or record. First of all, this is actively developing DeFi, which very soon may replace the business model of banks and social platforms like Facebook and Twitter, which are now suffering from poor data privacy. Also, I expect the data about trade and transport to be transferred to Web3 using smart contracts instead of hundreds of paper forms, which will save a lot of time and money.
Soon, developers will start offering massively truly serverless decentralized apps that load quickly and are reliable. There is no need for a centralized infrastructure as applications can directly connect to an efficient network of indexers to process queries.

What type of data should be indexed on The Graph?

This is, first of all, everything related to privacy data User & Privacy Application. It is indeed very important that Web3.0 describes methods that ensure that data sent by clients is used only for its intended purpose. After all, the privacy of big data and confidentiality is becoming the subject of more and more close attention, because now all kinds of hacks from hackers have become very aggravated and the attention of government agencies has increased. Data privacy is considered by many to be the most important consumer protection issue today. One of the factors contributing to this is the growing technological advancement and the resulting data types.

How do you see The Graph protocol and subgraphs evolving in the future?

I firmly believe that The Graph will become the backbone of the Web3 infrastructure, providing open indexed data for the entire crypto ecosystem through a data API called subgraphs, the new standard for accessing blockchain data. I expect that it will actively develop and become a kind of reference protocol for data indexing and quality control.
I am also looking forward to diversifying the supported networks and blockchains. Of course, Ethereum is king today, and it makes sense to do the first steps of The Graph with ETH. There are many blockchains already under construction that need to be paid close attention to, since soon they can compete with ETH — Polkadot, Avalanche, Flow, Near.

Why do you believe in The Graph?

The most attractive thing in The Graph is that everyone with different experience can participate in the development and improvement, adding new functionality, even non-technical people, like me, do a good job with the tasks of the Curator program. Although everything initially seemed complicated, with careful study of the material and the help of other curators, everything in the end was quite simple. Unlike other products and projects that require a solid technical background or a large amount of funds to cover gas charges. Сuration empowers users with different specialties to contribute to the ecosystem.

First of all, I want to note that over the past few years of active development of the project, it has undoubtedly been proven that the Graph protocol has become a key infrastructure component of the blockchain stack (and Ethereum and IPFS are just the beginning, further more). The blockchain data indexing developed by The Graph team has already proven to be effective and consistent. To see this, just look at projects and applications that already use Graph technologies: Uniswap, Balancer, Aave, Synthetix and hundreds of other decentralized applications.

Mission 3: Provide Feedback *

Let us know what went smoothly and what could be improved about The Graph, building with subgraphs, the Curator program or anything that comes to mind!

I would propose “Who wanna be The Graph astronaut program”. Where you can select people for different spheres. You can find people who can organize online and offline Meetups, Workshop talks, and AMAs, hackatons. Poeple who have excellent presentation and speaking skills in oreder to lead local events. You can launch bug or develop tasks and find people for Graph developments. Even people who win hackaton. Maybe someone has collaborative opportunities that will promote the Graph. You will need local translators for documents, tutorials. There are many people who can be part of your team, part of your shattle.
